SAL PACINICH - A baker on the TLC reality series "Cake Boss," is died at 63. Sal baked for 45 years in Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, N.J., where TLC's reality series is filmed.
SAL had worked at Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken for 45 years, which is the bakery where the series is recorded. SAL had been there longer than anybody else. He started there in 1964 with Buddy Valastro Sr. The bakery's rep says Buddy Valastro Jr., "The Cake Boss," saw Sal picinich as a second father.
Luckily Picinich "returned last summer to admit the Employee of the Century Award on the occasion of the bakery's 100th anniversary.
