GREER GARSON – in her Oscar Nominee

Greer Garson
 GREER GARSON -  acknowledged his six Best Actress Academy Award nominations during a seven-year span (1939-1945) and nominated to an Oscar for five years in a row, a feat matched only by Bette Davis. It is Garson featured on Turner Classic Movies tonight. One of the more celebrated World War II home front films has Greer Garson in an Oscar-winning turn as the stalwart title character, holding her home together against the German Blitz.
